My Services Canada Account

This account gives you secure access to services and benefits, related to:

  • Your SIN Number (Social Insurance Number)
  • Canada Pension Plan
  • Old Age Security
  • Employment Insurance
  • Canada apprentice loan

Creating a My Services Canada Account account

You will need either:

  • SIN number (Do not recommend choosing this at the beggining, I got errors)
  • Birth Registration number
  • Unique Client Identifier (UCI)

Then

  • A bank account + SIN card number
  • GCKey + SIN card number
  • Provincial ID

I did it with bank account + SIN card number, when it asked to connect with Interact, I got an error. I don’t recommend that route.

I then chose Birth Registration number, filled in that and chose the SIN application number (from the Email).
