Recognized Organizations (RO)

First visa

Instead of doing your own Visa application, you can go through a Recognized Organization. For your first visa, it is not required you go through an RO, but you can.

If you are looking for work in Canada, they offer programs that get you work, and also help you with things like accommodation. It seems like a pretty cool way to at least start out.

Second visa

If you are applying for your second visa (ie. for Ireland) it is recommended you go through an RO otherwise it’s nearly impossible to get a second visa. Apparently, you can get picked straight out of the pool so it’s a higher chance of getting your second Visa. There is a low chance you will get a second Visa if you do not go through an RO.

They are only open for applications at certain times of the year, most waitlists open in November and applications don’t happen until January.

I applied for SWAP with my partner the day the waitlist opened, and it closed 40 minutes in. So make sure you keep an eye on it, and start the application on the hour.

🚨 We applied for all of them. Jenza is nearly double the price of SWAP, but they don’t state they actually work with SWAP. So, what they do is Jenza accepts all the applications that were done on both, then SWAP accepts those who didn’t apply for Jenza. So, they’re making more money. This is speculation, but after conversations with people and working in tech, I’m pretty sure this is what happened. So, apply for Swap, if you don’t get it, go with Jenza.

It has the same requirements listed here:
